You must move out of the apartment no later than the first working day after the lease ends. The move-out day is always the first weekday of the month. The home must be empty and the keys handed over by 11:00 AM. More information and final cleaning instructions will be provided once the termination is confirmed. Right of possession The right of possession transfers from the resident back to Juli after the lease ends. Once possession has transferred to Juli, the resident no longer has access to the apartment for repairs or cleaning. The apartment may already be rented to a new resident, so Juli will, whenever possible, arrange for a contractor to fix any defects found during the inspection either on the inspection day or as soon as possible afterward. The contractor will carry out the necessary repairs, and the costs will be invoiced to the departing resident by our rent administration partner Newsec. The invoicing follows Juli’s resident billing price list. Even if the apartment is not rented to a new resident at the time of inspection, a new tenant can sign a lease at any moment via Juli’s website. If Juli were to offer the resident another chance to fix defects, Juli would charge rent from the departing resident for the days needed for repairs. Additionally, a new apartment inspection would be required by the property manager, with costs determined by the previously mentioned resident billing price list. If the apartment has already been rented to a new resident, the repair schedules would need to be coordinated with the new tenant’s schedule, as well as the extra inspection. Even if the apartment is still listed as available on our website, repairs must be carried out as quickly as possible. The apartment must be made ready for rent again promptly, which is why Juli may order a contractor to perform the necessary repairs.
